Taizé Singing
The community of Taizé is an ecumenical order in France made up of brothers from nearly 30 countries. They are known for their meditative signing, which creates peaceful space for contemplative prayer and quiet worship.
As of the summer of 2026, I have visited the Taizé brothers 5 times now.
If you’d like to experience the Taizé style of prayer, there’s a decent chance there’s some happening in your area. I facilitate services in Cincinnati. You can find details about them on Facebook events or by asking me to be on the mailing list for Cincinnati Taizé song services.
